How To Apply

  1. The Obligation Card – this is your actual application for membership. The bottom portion is for Local 300 to fill out when we enter you in our system. Make sure you put your signature on the top line next to the application date.

  2. The W-9 form

  3. Dues Deduction form – (If you are working for a utility, this is for your monthly dues, If you are working for a Construction Unit Signatory Employer, this is for your Working Dues, Cope, and Pension) one copy is to go to your employer, one copy to come back to Local 300.

  4. Cope Authorization Form – (If you are working for a Construction Unit Signatory Employer) this is to let us know how to distribute your $0.04 per hour COPE Contribution.

  5. Pension Election Form – (If you are working for a Construction Unit Signatory Employer) this is to let us know how much of a pension contribution you elect, 5%, 10%, or 15%.  Your hourly wage is adjusted accordingly.

  6. Initiation Fee – Initiation is $30.00 for Utility Members (BA), $102.00 for Construction Members (A). Please make check payable to IBEW Local 300.
